Dear Friends and Family:
I am so grateful for your support and encouragement. The last two years have been very busy. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself in an effort to pursue a dream. The truth is I had always dreamed of becoming a singer. Although, no one ever knew it. I never shared it with anyone. I was afraid people would laugh at me. Besides, I was convinced one day someone might discover me. Who was I fooling? After many years of waiting, I decided to take matters into my own hands and to make it happen (with a lot of help from lots of people). I am so much better off for having done it. It has been a truly rewarding experience. Finally, my soul is at peace. I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazingly talented people that I pinch myself because this couldn’t possibly be happening to me. But ultimately, none of this would have been possible if I didn’t have the will to try. I took the first step, I made myself vulnerable, I took a chance and believed in me because I know I Can.
I challenge anyone who learns about my story to dig deep, to do the unexpected, to be extraordinary. I hope I can count on your support as I enter the next phase of this journey with the nationwide radio campaign launch of Crazy Love, Life Had Other Plans and Breaking Away. I hope you enjoy listening to the music as much as I enjoyed recording it. The album I Can is available on iTunes and Amazon.
Is a lamp brought in to be put under the bushel basket, or under the bed, and not on the lampstand? Mark 4:21-34
Each of us has been given gifts from God to use as God knows best. We must choose what to do with the lamp God has given. What we shall not do is keep it to ourselves, hide it. The lamp belongs on a lampstand to illuminate our world.
